Astrid Chattman is the Outcomes Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island. Astrid joined BBBSRI in April 2016 as a Bilingual Program Coordinator. In 2018, she transitioned to Bilingual Enrollment Specialist, and after three years, she moved over to the Match Support Team as a Bilingual Match Support Specialist. She was promoted to Outcomes Manager in 2022. Astrid received her Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Rhode Island in 2013.
Since joining BBBSRI, Astrid has supported the growth between Matches and provided case management to families in the program. She has also enrolled mentors to become Bigs and children to become Littles. Alongside the Enrollment Team, she has created successful Matches between Bigs and Littles. In her role as Outcomes Manager, she can use her experience to provide additional training to our Bigs and families and monitor the strength of relationships of our matches.
Astrid has been in the social services field for nine years. Prior to working with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Astrid worked with the older population serving as a social service assistant at Evergreen House Health Center.
Astrid lives in Warwick with her young daughter, Ariella, and her husband, Jon.
