Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island is dedicated to re-purposing your clothing and household goods, in an effort to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people in our communities. Our Donation Center opened in 1997. In its 24-year history, it accounts for 72% of BBBSRI’s annual operating income, which supports impactful one-to-one mentoring relationships throughout all of Rhode Island. All in-kind donations whether home pick-ups, drop-offs at our Donation Center, clothing donation drives, or community collection drives directly support our mission; to create and support one-on-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Additionally, we operate with a philosophy of eco-consciousness to reduce textile waste through the recycling of donated cloth, linen, and household goods. Yearly, we keep 3-5 million pounds of waste from Rhode Island landfills. Join our efforts today!

We have over 85 donation bins located across Rhode Island that can accept bagged donations of clothing, shoes, and other soft fabric donations 24/7/365! Please do not leave small household goods at our bins.
BIG FUNDRAISERS
Help BBSRI and raise money for your community group, or non-profit organization! Register your fundraiser, collect donations, and make money! Your organization will get paid for every pound collected!
AT-HOME PICK-UP
We offer free at-home curbside pick-ups of your in-kind donations of new and gently used cloth, linen, and small household goods all over Rhode Island!

We accept bagged cloth, linen, and small household goods at all four of our Donation Centers (Johnston, Cranston, Wakefield, and Aquidneck)!
